Antenatal Care
Antenatal clinics are available with the midwife each week on a Thursday afternoon, as part of the shared care programme with East Surrey Hospital.
Asthma & COPD Clinic
We offer appointments with our asthma specialist nurse for monitoring symptom control and medication together with support and advice on management according to individual needs. All asthma patients are advised to see the Practice Nurse for an annual review.
Baby Clinic
We offer an eight week baby check, first immunisations and general advice with a GP at each surgery, all by appointment. Please bring your child’s red book with you.
Blood Clinic
We provide daily blood clinics by appointment.
Cervical Smear Tests
Please book an appointment with our Practice Nurse, these are usually carried out mid-cycle, if this is applicable.
A cervical smear test is a quick, easy and reliable way to detect abnormal cells at the neck of the womb (cervix) that can lead to cancer if not treated early. Regular smear tests can prevent cervical cancer and it is important to get one done. Women aged 25-49 years should have one every three years and those aged 50-64 every five years.
Childhood Immunisations
Childhood immunisations are administered by our Practice Nurses.

Diabetes
Our Practice Nurse runs regular diabetic clinics. All diabetic patients are advised to see the Practice Nurse for an annual review.
Family Planning Services
We offer a weekly coil/contraceptive implant clinic at Brockham Surgery on a Thursday afternoon. Please contact reception for an appointment by completing our Ask Reception A Question form.
We also have a monthly drop-in clinic on a Tuesday afternoon at North Holmwood Surgery for any patientfor contraceptive advice and coil and implant fittings/removals. You do not need to be registered with our Practice to drop into this clinic.
Our Practice Nurses are able to provide contraceptive advice.
Health Visitor
The Health visitor (0-19) team can be contacted between 09.00 – 17.00 from Monday to Friday on 01306 743341. They offer appointments at Medwyn Centre or at the Rural Playlink Centre at St John’s School for weight check, general advice and support to families with children.
Medication Reviews and Queries
Please book an appointment with our Clinical Pharmacist.
Minor Surgery
We offer minor surgery appointments on GP referral at our Newdigate Surgery.
NHS Health Checks
We provide NHS Health checks to patients aged 40-74 years.
Patient Health Checks
We offer every new patient that registers with us a new patient health check. We also provide well man, well woman and health checks for patients aged 75years+.
Physiotherapy
We offer MSK (musculoskeletal) physiotherapy appointments for patients who have joint, muscle or tendon pain. These appointments are for diagnosis, advice and onward referral for treatment, if required. These clinics do not provide treatment.
If referred for a course of physiotherapy treatment, we hold a physiotherapy clinic on a Friday at Brockham Surgery.
Post-Natal
We offer a 6-8 week post-natal check for new mothers with a GP.
Smoking Cessation
We do not provide smoking cessation at the Practice but this service can be accessed through One You Surrey. For more information, please go to www.oneyousurrey.org.uk.
Travel Health
Advice for travellers is provided by the Practice Nurses who are specially trained. They can provide all travel vaccinations including yellow fever.
